My Libarary

After visitng the LibraryThing, I created an account to start my own library.
As a leopard, I am impatient to find my real favourite books online. So, just choose some books to try out and have fun. Also try to create two tags: fiction, voice training.
The link to my library is as follow:
http://www.librarything.com/home/ckf23
Also try out the blog widget as shown on the right column. The website will generate some java script for me to copy and paste.

I am not a bookworm, so the tool may not be very useful to me. But, it surely will excite some of my friends who are very learned and love books. Let me tell them about this.

Zoho Writer

The writer of writer.zoho.com is very friendly. Editor environment is just like Microsoft Word, which most people are familiar. It can be used to do word processing and save the file, even without signing up.
After signing in using my yahoo account, I can import the file and do editing. The ability to post the document to my blog by clicking on the 'Publish' button is very cool.
Then I tried to make it public on line , and was given the following link:
This means that I can use it to share document on line with students with ease.
It is so cute that now I am thinking of writing blog post using this tool.

technorati

The website http://www.technorati.com/ tends to cover a very wide range of topics under the sky. It has to use a lot of tags to do so.
I find the 'popular' tag very useful, and also the statistics provided in 'blogosphere'.

Here is a comment about technorati from another blogger:
Technorati is a real-time search engine that keeps track of what is going on in the blogosphere — the world of weblogs. Technorati tracks the number of links, and the perceived relevance of blogs, as well as the real-time nature of blogging.

Social Book Marking Site

The social bookmarking site with address http://delicious.com/ is excellent.
The tags are useful and convenient.
Whatever is your hobby, you can find something excite you there.

My favourite hobby is to seek for freeware. Using the tags 'software' and 'freeware', I managed to find this site which delights me, "50 websites you wonder how you lived without'.

Singapore News RSS feed

Another RSS feed which is useful to me is the feed to Singapore education news by yahoo.com as shown below:

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/rss/

I did find a few good RSS feed on education, especially from UK. But, I still prefer educational news from Singapore, closer to heart.

My favourite RSS - Channel News Asia

After register at http://www.bloglines.com/, I was eager to select websites with RSS feed.
My favourite news channel is, no surprise, channel news asia.
I was glad to find RSS feed in the website as follows:
http://www.channelnewsasia.com/rss
The website gives good summary of the latest news, which I use to browse through a few times a day. Maybe it is good reason to include it in my newsreader.
